Vintage Valentine
From Laurel Canyon, with love.
My first ever polaroid only shoot. Shot by the maven of polaroids herself, Shelbie Dimond. Through a series of planned events that all consistently fell through (locations, dates, cameras, wardrobe) we ended up exactly where we were meant to be, shooting exactly what we were meant to shoot. On the hillside of a Laurel Canyon home of a mutual friend of ours, just before we lost the sun over the canyon hill, we caught some unbelievably magical moments on film. Shelbie has such an incredible vintage style that transpires into her photography and self portraiture. A veteran of posing au naturel, I channeled my inner Shelbie for this special Valentine’s shoot.
Have a magical Valentine’s Day, my bunnies!

Space Cowboy
Don’t you know that I’m a gangster of love
Hand-stitched bandit p’s and t’s and baby blue ostrich cowboy boots fit for a rodeo queen. Of course the first excursion is making a jungle gym out of an abandoned train. I cannot say enough good things about both of these companies. Spacecowboy NYC, possibly the raddest online and brick a mortar shop featuring boot designs you would only dream of owning, and Pantsu Pantsu, a custom hand-stiched clothing company based in London featuring the most adorable and no-frills sexy tees and panties.
My personalized monogrammed “A!” I had such an amazing meet up with one of the creative forces of Pantsu Pantsu on my recent trip to London in the fall. Definitely the most fashionable chick I had seen in London to date. She came bearing this amazing little western set which she stitched herself and included a little personal touch.
These boots…definitely my all time favorite cowboy boots ever made.
The softest tees for your titties;)
“I’m a space cowboy
Bet you weren’t ready for that.”

Velvet Dustings
Something vintage, something blue
I’ve been gravitating towards textures and blues recently. Maybe it’s because of the red hair. Keeping monotone shades but making it tactile has been go to look. Velvet, faux suede, and elaborate beading make this ensemble one of my everyday favorites. Any easy way to make a summer outfit a west coast winter outfit…add a trench and thigh high boots. I actually do keep my shorts in rotation all year long for those winter days when pants just aren’t cutting it. Adorned with some pretty little lovelies from Flea Market Girl and the most amazing beaded saddle bag from Pachamama Bohemian, scroll down for some west coast winter street style inspiration.Continue reading…
