Mellow Yellow
I’m just mad about Saffron, Saffron’s mad about me.
Yellows, burnt umber and brick reds. A palette fit for 1969. This little tie-up shirt from Pachamama Bohemian and dreamy yellow floral crops from Novella Royale are gonna be my spring staples. Cozy enough for lounging and groovy enough for a night out. Yellow actually happens to be my favorite color, it’s just so tricky to wear. The subtle shades of yellow and what my teenage self would call ‘puke green’ have become a favorite combination of mine. This billowy, gauzy yet oh so feminine blouse is my favorite compliment to skin tight flares. Tied up or loose and breezy, it’s so versatile and so easy.
“Electrical banana, it’s bound to be the very next phase.”

Six Days on the Road
Six days on the road, And I’m gonna make it home tonight.
This last Joshua Tree trip wasn’t quite 6 days on the road, 4 to be exact, but in actuality a prep for the next 6 months on the road for me. I am so grateful that I get to perform music around the globe with an artist and a band I adore. The Italian artist Zucchero is taking me around the world to places I’ve only dreamed of going. Starting in San Diego on March 15th and headed halfway around the world to Australia and back, 2017 is gonna be one helluva ride. Only fitting that my new favorite local designer, GM Studio LA, is Italian herself and designs clothes that are made in Los Angeles that are totally rock star worthy. While I’m bringing the threads on the road, I only wish I could bring the rad team that helped tame my cherry red mane and made my skin look all dewy and pretty! Thank you Ashley Layton & Marlene Sullivan!

Joshua Tree
Desert dazed.
I’m writing this on the eve of my next trip to the cosmic community of Joshua Tree. This time rolling with squad of uber talented and fun ladies to a sweet little mid-century modern meets Gram Parsons ranch style home. What’s in store? Prosecco for days, photos, photos, photos, local pub hangs, music making, vintage store exploring, scenic desert paintings, basically everything I love in one of the places I love the most. This time we’ll stay a little more hydrated, and work a little less strenuous…what is behind these photos was end of the day delirium where Ashley and I literally thought we spotted a carnival but in actuality drove into a deliverance-like desert setting where a large ferris wheel was in fact a poor excuse for a burning man installation. Basically a ten foot tall mess of plywood nailed in a circle, something I feel like I’ve seen outside of the Scientology church of Hollywood. Becoming a little more versed with the lay of the desert, get ready for a Boho Bunnie overhaul of Joshua Tree photos.
May your desert days be dreamy.
