Maui Sunsets
It’s been about a month since my trip to Maui and I’m finally getting a chance to share the second round of photos by local photographer Danielle Nowicki. Forgetting that not every place is sunny without at a chance of rain like 99% of the time in LA, I completely lucked out with the Hawaiian weather for this shoot. Since Hawaiian rains that just come and go at the drop of a hat, I couldn’t have imagined a better evening for a Maui sunset on Po’Olenalena Beach. A low tide with knee high waves and a partly cloudy sky that the sun just peaked through. Just enough light to catch the sparkle of the golden threads in this Pachamama Bohemian crochet one piece. And the Mai Tais? I definitely had my fair share over the course of the five days, answering most of my emails under the influence, but hey, when in Maui…
Adding some local flair, I picked up a few of these shell headbands. And yes, shell head piece shopping was also accomplished during an afternoon of over indulging on those delicious rum beverages.
Mahalo for all the love, Maui!
