I’ve been a huge Kacey Musgraves fan since I started performing with Shania Twain a few years back. When I started playing viola and fiddle for one of the biggest country artists of all times, my musical taste was definitely drawn towards Nashville singer-songwriters, bluegrass and anything with pedal steel guitar. When one of my bandmates introduced me to Kacey’s album “Same Trailer Different Park,” I had it on repeat so much I think my boyfriend has all the lyrics memorized. Kacey’s lyrics are so true, raw and unforgettable. Since I can’t get the chorus of “Follow Your Arrow” out of my head, I figured I’d just write about it in this post.
