Glowing skin with a simple winged liner and a rockin matte red lip is my go-to look for the holidays. I don’t normally gravitate towards simple eye make-up and bright lip, but there’s something so festive about bold lips. Perfectly highlighted skin creates the best palate for for a simple and elegant look. I’m in love with all of these beautiful brushes from Eco Tools make make contouring, highlighting and smoothing so easy! These sets featured below are the absolute cutest little stocking stuffers too, especially with a $3 off coupon you can download here. Let the holiday parties begin!

First, take your Skin Perfecting Brush and apply your favorite foundation.

Next, take the Precision Foundation Brush from the Festive and Flawless Face Set and use it to apply your concealer under your eyes, around your mouth, and a bit into the center of your forehead to highlight and conceal. Adding a slight highlight to your face gives it that extra glow.

Using the Buffing Concealer Brush in this set, begin blending the concealer in small circular motions for flawless coverage. Such a perfect little blender that can be used for all parts of your face.

Going back to the Complexion Collection, take the Mattifying Finishing Brush and use a matte bronzer to warm up your skin. Apply at the hollows of your cheeks, along your jawline, and into your hairline for a more sculpted look.

To add a healthy glow to the look, take the Complexion Blending Brush and dab on your favorite powder or cream highlighter to the high points of your cheekbones, your brow bone, and above the arches of your brows.

My favorite part…taking the Angled Eyeliner Brush from the Mini Essential Set, apply a black gel eyeliner from inner corner to outer corner, creating a dramatic winged eyeliner. I love creating the perfect dramatic black wing and this little angled brush is the master tool for this look.

To complete the eyes, apply a coat of your favorite mascara to your top and bottom lashes. For an extra festive look, apply a matte bright red lip color. To create a sleek and clean lip look, take the Flat Concealer Brush and apply a tiny amount of concealer at the edge of your lips, creating a clean and crisp edge. Simply blend out the concealer and you’re done! I’ve never tried this trick before but it works magic! Makes your lips pop and gives them precise definition.

@Bohobunnie

It’s been a while since I introduced myself. Hi! It’s been a while since I introduced myself. Hi! I’m Andrea Whitt, musician, artist, stylist and model.
I get asked often about my pedal steel playing and thought I’d share a little of my musical journey.

My first instrument was guitar when I was 8. I was given an acoustic guitar for Christmas and by April I had taught myself a handful of songs that I had my friends sing along with me at my 9th birthday. That year I started playing viola, and went on to get my masters degree at University of Cincinnati CCM in viola performance. I was getting so tired of playing the same classical rep that I joined the jazz department.
I moved to LA after college, and as a surprise to myself was able to support myself doing music full time. Except a gig as a spray tan artist, but that’s another story 🤣 A huge part of my musical career has been teaching private lessons, group classes and conducting youth orchestras.

I played in rock bands, orchestras, did sessions, random gigs (many shitty ones) until I landed the gig with Shania Twain. I was hired as a violist and fiddle player. I purchased my first violin for this gig and went to local bluegrass jams to learn fiddle styles, definitely fell on my face every time. It was when I was in Shania’s band that I saw a pedal steel for the first time. I was obsessed. I immediately ordered one off of eBay and had it sent to my hotel room in Vegas. Being a Grateful Dead fan I decided the priority was to learn all of the iconic Jerry Garcia pedal steel solos. Note for note, I taught myself steel with all of Jerry’s signature licks.

Shortly after the Shania gig, I got hired to play in Zucchero’s band. A three year world tour to 48 countries. Even though I had only been playing steel for 3 years I got to perform on steel on a handful of songs every show. When you’re sitting at a new instrument in front of 20,000 people you learn fast!

Now pedal steel is just as much a part of my career as viola and fiddle. Thank you for supporting my journey, many of you have been following since my first steel post. I have lots of new announcements coming soon, thanks for joining me on this long strange trip!
