I’m so excited to introduce to you an amazing bohemian accessory company, KusiLife! I actually found their website by the recommendation of one of my readers! They specialize in importing and selling handmade Peruvian accessories. Since each piece is handmade, every piece is completely unique. The colors, craftsmanship and detail in all of the accessories are absolutely fantastic! I’ve always been really drawn to dark, romantic & enchanting designs & objects. While I’ve never experimented with spell craft, the concept of drawing forces from crystals, herbs, scents and candles has always really fascinated me. A few weeks back at the Melrose Trading Post, I spotted this shop and I had to check it out. Who doesn’t love an awesome pair of yoga pants? The most perfect workout, travel and lounging item ever created. I’m a huge yoga fan and I practice multiple times a week so I’m always on the lookout for new apparel. Nothing motivates me more to work out than seeing a super cute yoga outfit hanging in my closet. I’ve wanted glasses all my life…I remember growing up being so jealous of my brother when he would come home with a brand new pair of Versace frames. The optometrist would always say “well, Andrea, there’s a large collection of sunglasses you can pick from.” Not the same. I wanted the thick rimmed, sexy-dorky glasses that would make any outfit look nerdier, and well…cooler! I don’t know why I didn’t invest in a pair of faux specs sooner because this week I found the perfect frames. And what better to pair with my new sultry librarian rims? This awesome high-waist vintage skirt I found from an online vintage shop called Brag Vintage. To keep with the vintage theme, I made sure all items in this look came from my closet or items in storage, which basically acts as my personal vintage shop in the garage.Continue reading…

This week my design is inspired by this beautiful large woven piece made by a Native American of the Hopi tribe. My grandmother gave this hand-woven piece to me when I was young, maybe 12 years old. It has moved with me all across the country, and is always a wonderful reminder of my amazingly stylish grandmother and how she continues to be an inspiration to me!

I’ve been in love with Gypsy Junkies for the past couple years after I ordered this dress from Free People a couple summers ago. Since then I’ve seen Gypsy Junkies pop up at various boutiques (my favorite-Boho 72 in Ohio), online shops, and I even got to meet the designer and Gypsy team at a Free People event in Hollywood a few weeks back!
