A few months ago I had the privilege of working with amazing boudoir photographer, Karen Stewart. From a mutual love of each others Instagram accounts we planned a shoot in Bakersfield, California where Karen is based. With run down farms and cotton fields dominating much of the outskirts of the city, it was definitely a perfect place to capture a western bohemian vibe. There’s nothing like the quest to get the perfect shot at magic hour. There’s definitely something exciting about pulling up on an amazing location right before the sun sets and hoping everything falls into place to capture the right look in a five to ten minute window. We had some magical moments while the sun was setting, and even some just at dusk. Karen’s photography is all about the art of being a woman and you can see the passion in her photos. From bridal shoots, pregnancy photos, fashion shoots, to classy boudoir, Karen captures women in their most beautiful state.
