Trash & glam off the beaten path.

We left Las Vegas with a car packed full of half bottles of booze, partial Halloween costumes, granola bars and enough polaroid photos to cover our living room wall. We had given it our all for Phish Halloween weekend and it was the dreaded travel day back to reality. In and out of a few snoozes and back seat make-up application, I was able to muster up enough energy to sneak into an abandoned gas station with Justin to shoot these magical gypsy jewels from Lush Jewelry.

I’m kinda obsessed with this crystal and crescent ear chain. I totally used to have my ear pierced at the top of my ear in high school but decided in 2001 that it was no longer cool. Little did I know I’d be rocking an ear cuff 13 years later in the same spot.

This photo was actually taken in fear. Trespassing on private property via crawling under a chain link fence, I was already scared enough, let alone when a pick-up from the trailer park 100 yards back decided to pick up dust and do donuts in the lot. Nothing like trying to be sexy when you think your life is at stake.
