Neon & Neutral Boho Rock with Ara Nicole
I took a break from the normal lazy breakfast routine at home and ventured out to Ventura Boulevard for an early morning cappuccino with my beau. Most days I don’t leave the house until 1 pm, a schedule I never take for granted! A little change of pace was very energizing…or maybe it was the triple shot cappucino:) Sometimes not dressing for the occasion in LA is that much cooler, and I have to admit I felt a little like a rockstar rollin into the Blu Jam cafe at 9 am in these threads.
I am absolutely in love with these neon and neutral wrapped thread pieces from Ara Nicole Boutique! Tamara, the shop owner, picks out the most perfect collection of bohemian-rocker-glam jewelry to showcase in her shop! These pieces I’m wearing are actually handmade by a designer right here in Los Angeles. Not only do they make the perfect subtle statement, but are also some of the lightest pieces of jewelry I own, such an important factor for large dangle-y earrings.
My morning soy cappuccino never experienced so much glam!
I picked up the dress and belt from the new UO surplus store that opened dangerously close to my home. $13 for both! Great canvas for layering oversize sweaters when it cools down here in LA.
