Mixing bright orange and yellows

The inspiration came from this super casual neon tank I picked up at Nordstrom when they re-did their “savvy” department. I actually bought it in conjunction with the neon and grey yoga bra, with all intentions of using it for working out. It’s just so cute and easy to wear, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to break a sweat in it! And for about $24 the tank is a steal. Paired with one of my favorite statement bracelets, an awesome chunky Ettika neon knotted rope piece.

The yoga bra is from Zella, another awesome line you can find at Nordstrom. Just like the tank, I’ve used this bra more as an everyday cool color pop under shirts than a bra I wear to yoga class. So comfy! With all the loose fit tanks out there, I love finding cute bra-like tops that are meant to be seen:)

Beach-boho-3

These jeans are pretty ridiculous, talk about booty jeans! They’re a little higher-waisted than I normally buy but fit like a glove. The detail is pretty awesome…little copper studs all over the perfect grey stonewash. Unfortunately I think these studded jeans sold out in like 3 days from Topshop, but the fit is worth checking out–they’re Topshop Moto Leigh fit. Probably my favorite part of this outfit are the awesome Sam Edelman sandals in neon yellow and grey. I have SUPER narrow feet and the 7 1/2 fit so perfect, which barely ever happens. There’s a cute little zipper on the heel too!

I hope most of you know about returning your empties to MAC cosmetics, right? Well, this week I turned in 18 empty make-up containers to MAC which means I got to pick out 3 lipsticks or lip glosses of my choice for FREE! I’ve been seeing SO much orange-y, coral-y, magenta-y shades that I had to give this “Vegas Volt” color a go. I got a matching “What a Blast” lipliner that literally looks like a bright orange crayon. I was slightly hesitant to put it on with dark eye makeup, but I totally think it works! Can’t wait to try my pucker up with my new magenta shade too:) Linking up to Tres Chic Thursdays!

Thank you! The bracelet was an xmas gift from a super trendy parent of one of my students, and now I’m currently obsessed with the Ettika line of jewelry!
