Ain’t No Party Like a Doggie Party!

Bowie the Boxer and Auggie the Frenchie ready to party in their birthday suits!

Do we spoil our dog? Um, well…YES! Meet Bowie the Boxer (our only child with only-child syndrome) and Auggie the Frenchie, Bowie’s new pint size BFF with Napoleon complex. Living in our household, Bowie has grown up in the world of entertainment and at the young age of two is now a pretty seasoned doggie model.

Bowie’s first TV gig! I’m not sure if she’s becoming more obedient as she ages or she’s just come to terms with the fact that we’re stage parents and she’s going to be the main subject of our pictures for the rest of her doggie life. And what better time to stage a shoot than Bowie’s second birthday!

Location scouting and set building are such important aspects in our pictures. Bowie’s birthday shoot started with a large patch of astro-turf and cans of party poppers. This astro-turf has come in handy with previous set design!

The most scrumptious doggie treats from Three Dog Bakery! The icing smells so delicious…like strawberry cream. If it was vegan I might have actually tried it myself.

And of course you can’t do a shoot without bribery.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to!
