Nothing says ‘Merica like stars, stripes & Lynyrd Skynyrd
I grew up listening to all sorts of classic rock, whether I liked it or not. Until high school I always thought classic rock was what parents listened to when they wanted to embarrass their kids. Case in point my step dad would pick me up from school in the 5th grade in is El Camino blaring “Sweet Home Alabama.” I was small enough that I was able to crawl under the glove compartment on the floor so that none of my friends would see me in the “car-truck” listening to old people’s jams. Now I would totally rock an El Camino with an iPod full of 70’s rock. I’m actually pretty bummed that the car-truck bit the dust in an accident during my middle school years.
Can you get much more patriotic than this? America’s biggest southern rock band pictured with a patriotic cow skull. Now if I can only collect $1 for every time someone asks me to play “Free Bird” with my band…
