A little black magic and a book of Holy.
Going through these pictures from our recent shoot I can’t help but think of the unintended combination of accessories I acquired…Holy Bilbe clutch, Wiccan stars, skull bead bracelet, knee high boots and a gin elixir served up. I’ve been in a dark place when it comes to fashion recently. Dark as in a gothic, grungy, 70’s Laurel Canyon mysticism, bohemian, gypsy rock. I am obsessed with this season of American Horror story (as seen in a recent post) and have been lusting over ornate, unique and mysterious fashion items.
I’ve been collaborating recently with two amazing woman, both designers and entrepreneurs. Elena, owner and designer of Skinny Bags, and Alisha, owner and designer of Eclectic Star jewelry. Both of these ladies are so extremely creative and talented with their designs.
Elena’s attention to detail in her purses are outstanding. Her purses are literally works of art. Made local in Los Angeles, every detail is accounted for…suede interior, soft leather exterior, and of course the awesome bold “Holy Bible” title. It’s not only a statement clutch, but a perfect clutch.
Alisha of Eclectic Star makes the coolest handmade and affordable wrist bling! Her gold skull and mala bed “Til Death” bracelet is one of my favorites of hers. It’s become a staple in my bracelet layering routine, obviously:) I can see myself wearing every single one of her designs!
I’d like to give a shout out to my new favorite boots and dress. Jeffrey Campbell has been my fav shoe designer for years (figures that my favorite kicks always rotate between different styles of Jeffrey’s). And my All Saints dress is actually a first All Saints purchase for me and I’m sure that it’s the first of many.

I know! Isn’t it so awesome? I got to meet up with Elena (the owner of the company) to do the shoot, but I might just break down and buy it, it’s so rad!

Love the hat! I’ve been wanting to try out the grunge throw back look because it brings me back to my middle school days.
