Living in LA for the past 7 years I’m embarrassed to say that I can count on two hands the times I’ve made a day trip to the beach. I can officially (and proudly) call myself a valley girl. When I make it outside of my little bubble of Sherman Oaks, visiting the beach is such a surreal experience. The salty air, the burning incense, the beach artists who sell their crafts and henna tattoos make up this iconic span of ocean side called Venice. And when in Rome, well there’s nothing better to wear to Venice beach than your favorite flip flops and poncho.
